HEXAR Humancare was born in the Robotics Engineering Lab at Hanyang University. HEXAR Humancare first investigated wearable robots based on robotic technology in Korea. HEXAR Humancare tried to compensate for human physical weaknesses by using R&D capabilities and robotics technology. In other words, the small step of HEXA Humancare has begun to realize its dream of enhancing human muscle strength and power by amplifying movements and activities to create even more amazing opportunities. Many domestic and foreign venture investors have shown interest in HEXAR Humancare's technology and vision. In 2019, HEXAR funded approximately 4 billion won (EUR 2.9 million) in investments. Founded in 2016 by Ph.D. Han, Chang Soo, who holds the following roles: President of Korean Society of Rehabilitation Robots (KORERO), Member of Innovation & Challenge Project Promotion Committee, A full-time member of National Academy of Engineering of Korea (NAEK), A former professor of robotics at Hanyang University. The company has 27 employees and 102 patents in 2023.

HEXAR's products can be rented or transferred to the buyer after five years. The shortest rental period is ten days. The solutions have a CE marking and are certified according to ISO13485.
