Exciting News!!! Cray X from German Bionic wins the "Best of Innovation" award in the CES Wearable Technology 2023 category.
Protecting the health and well-being of people performing manual tasks in the workplace, German Bionic's Cray X fully connected, motorized exoskeleton was named "Best of Innovation" in the Wearable Technologies category of the CES® 2023 Innovation Awards. The Cray X Power Suit, which provides up to 66 lb (30 kg) of support per lifting motion, is one of the leading innovations from a record number of more than 2,100 submissions received for this year's awards. The announcement was made in advance of CES 2023, the world's most influential technology event, which takes place January 5-8, 2023, in Las Vegas, NV. The German Bionic booth is located at booth #7141.
The CES Innovation Awards, presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, is an annual competition that recognizes outstanding design and engineering in 28 consumer technology product categories. The "Best of Innovation" award is reserved exclusively for the products that receive the highest rating in each category. A distinguished panel of industry experts, including media representatives, designers, engineers and others, reviewed the submitted products based on innovation, technology and functionality, aesthetics and design. The "Best of Innovation" winner in the Wearable Technologies category is the Cray X exoskeleton from German Bionic.
The Cray X is the world's first fully connected, electrically powered exoskeleton for use in industrial environments such as logistics, intralogistics and manufacturing. It protects the lower back by supporting up to 30 kg per lifting movement and provides active walking support to prevent fatigue. The man-machine system thus combines the intelligence of humans with the performance of machines.
"Being named 'Best of Innovation' in the Wearable Technologies category of the CES Innovation Awards is a special honor given the rapid growth of the industry and the increasing impact such solutions are having on our daily lives," said Armin G. Schmidt, CEO and co-founder of German Bionic. "Not only does our technology literally reduce the burden on workers, the Cray X is the only device of its kind on the market that provides data to demonstrate its ability to protect worker health, measurably reduce the risk of workplace accidents and injuries, and provide AI-powered insights that help companies measurably improve their work processes."
Visitors to the German Bionic booth at CES 2023 in booth #7141 in Las Vegas will be able to experience the Cray X firsthand and discover other breakthrough developments in human augmentation and wearable technologies.
